Projects that we Suport

s a Service organisation, Wellington South contributes both internationally and locally.

Here are a few projects that we support as a club:  
    International
  • Eradication of Polio world wide - Rotary International
    Local Communities   
  • Deliver Meals on Wheels with Wellington Hospital: Non-Rotarian are welcome to join us, please get in touch.
  • Pride of Workmanship Awards, aim to encourage pride in personal performance in the workplace, and to help create a national attitude for the benefit of our country
  • Provide picture dictionaries for students at selected schools
  • Help a number of local organisations with both monetary donations and hands-on assistance (ie: volunteered at events such as Newtown Festival, annual stroke awareness day and round the bay)​
We are also working with DEBRA NZ for their training project in South East Asia Region as a working in progress project so please get in touch to find out more about what you can help.

There are some other worthy causes that we support but not listed above so come and join us to find out more about what we do as a group and how we support our own members with their own community projects.
